Webhosting for Your Needs
Saturday, May 10th, 2008Once you get your domain name, it’s time to set up your webhosting. Make sure you get webhosting for your needs. You need to choose one that’s not too small, nor too big. Somewhere in the middle is what you want whether you’re just starting out or transferring to a new webhost with already established sites.
I prefer this webhosting company. Good service, excellent value. With prices as low as $7 per month, you can’t beat their hosting plans. Unlimited subdomains & add-on domains can be added. You can grow your real estate empire with this company. Let’s face it, there’s problems with almost every company, and I’m sure this one is no exception, but I personally haven’t had any with them. I use other webhosting companies as well, but this is the one I like the best for my webhosting. Whenever I’ve had a question or needed something, they have always responded quickly. Thats A LOT in my book! It’s no good for you to need help & have to wait days on end to get your problems resolved.
If you choose a plan thats too small, you will have to upgrade later. If you choose a plan thats too big, thats like throwing money out the window. Balance is key. How many websites will you have in the future. How many do you have now? How long will it take you to create all these sites? How much traffic will be visiting your websites? Those, amongst other variables, are all part of the equation for figuring out what kind of webhosting you really need.
Setting up webhosting isn’t difficult & takes almost no time at all. Just follow the onscreen directions, select a plan, input your info & you’re done. 10 minutes tops.
Now that you’ve got the webhosting for your needs, you’re almost ready to upload your website! But you’ll need an FTP program to do that! See the FTP Program post I’ve made about that!
