The order of things to do

When you create your own websites, you should make all your webpages first (the entire site), then upload them all. However, because I am creating the site while you watch, and, trying to get exposure for it at the same time, I am sort of bouncing back and forth between the actions I take here. So note that this should NOT be the order in which you take when you make your own websites!

Between yesterday & today, I spent about 3 1/2 hours making the “product” page. It isn’t totally finished though, I still need to add the payment button. But before I can do that, I have to go thru the JV manager to see how to set it up! Remember, I told you I was using ALL new software to make everything for this site, so I’m not sure how this program works just yet.

I also worked on the ebook package page, which has been uploaded, but it too, isn’t done for the same reasons. I’ve got about 2 hours into that page.

It’s a good thing that I had all the products separated from the files they’re normally stored in on my computer. I already knew (mostly) the products I wanted to include in each of the offers that I’m presenting on this site. Otherwise, that would have added a few hours by itself to the times I mention here! Of course, those couple hours were already accounted for in the beginning stages of my research (before day 1).

Yesterday also entailed signing up for blogrush, which, so their directions state, that someone would look over my site here to determine if they will let their widget display here. I guess they found it ok, as I see it’s working!

Also got mybloglog done. Spent 20 minutes browsing thru all the different communities you can join into. To which I joined about 7 or 8. I didn’t spend a lot of time at any of these 2… for now. Just pretty much wanted to get signed up & do a little while I was there, then go back to doing other things. I’ll delve deeper in to them later.
